PaneMba (Pvt) Ltd operates the PaneMba property marketplace for Zimbabwe. This policy describes how we handle personal information under the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act (2021).

2. Information We Collect

We collect account details (email, name), listing content, messages, and payment references needed to operate the marketplace. Payment cards and mobile-money credentials are processed only by Pesepay — PaneMba does not store them.

Landlord contact details on gated listings are not shown publicly until a seeker unlocks contact via PaneMba Pass or is accepted through the rental application flow.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your PaneMba account
• To display your listings and facilitate communication between tenants and landlords
• To process platform fee payments (listing fees, PaneMba Pass, agent subscriptions)
• To send notifications about your listings, applications, and messages
• To comply with legal obligations under Zimbabwean law

4. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, hosting, analytics, and push notifications. Purchase receipts are stored in Firestore. We do not sell personal data.

Payment processing is handled by Pesepay. PaneMba does not store card numbers or mobile-money PINs.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and listing content remain on PaneMba while your account is active. Purchase receipts are retained for tax and audit compliance as required by Zimbabwean law.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data. Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete my account, or email support@panemba.com. We fulfil deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

PaneMba is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a minor created an account.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Firebase Analytics uses cookies to understand how users interact with the platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
